Infinity Alpha 50 Manual

  1. Infinity Alpha Speakers

You're home alone. Now's your chance to crank up your system! But sometimes, even the most capable bookshelf-and-subwoofer combo just can't send out the hair-raisingly huge, top-to-bottom sound you're looking for. However, a pair of really impressive towers can. Case in point: the Alpha 50s.Infinity, famous for years of speaker innovation and research, has pulled technology from much more expensive speaker lines for use in the high-performance Alpha Series. So you get C.M.M.D. (Ceramic Metal Matrix Diaphragm) drivers: they're stiff, for precise, natural sound, but light enough to be very responsive.

Other Alpha highlights include solid, very well-braced cabinets, and high enough power handling and efficiency to permit really big, clean sound. And the Alpha 50 tower is the top of the line! The 50 showcases a 1' C.M.M.D. Tweeter, a 5-1/4' C.M.M.D. Midrange driver, and dual 8' C.M.M.D. Woofers, in an attractive ported cabinet. Together, these drivers produce sound that's crisp and uncolored at the top, full and lifelike in the middle, and stunningly deep and real when it comes to lows. The remarkably wide frequency response is measured at 35-22,000 Hz!
